(September 10-October 29)
Celebrating The 500th Anniversary Of The Reformation
Five Hundred Years ago, an obscure German monk published 95 theses for debate and unwittingly set off a revolution that continues to shape the church and the world to this very day. Various Elders will facilitate this historical journey of 500 years, using the Christian History Institute three-part documentary on the reformation along with Vision Video's church history film series with its six half-hour programs, vividly bringing to life the Reformation with its history-shaping turning points and its colorful leaders with the likes of Wycliffe, Hus, Luther, Zwingli, Calvin, the Anabaptists, and William Tyndale.
The class will gather in rooms 218-220.
The Epistle of Joy: The Book of Philippians
Often referred to as the "Epistle of Joy", Pastor Josh will accompany the class in seeing from the apostle Paul's letter how we can experience genuine joy and peace when there is so much hardship and sadness all around us. Join the journey through Philippians and learn with others the secret to having joy, peace, and contentment in all circumstances.
The class will gather in room 201 (The Ambassador Room)
